Flow like water

Humans and water share one striking similarity: Both share the tendency to obey the path of least resistance.

Like water, humans will choose the easiest and quickest option; one that requires the least amount of effort.

If the cookies are on the kitchen table, we are likely to eat them.

If the TV remote is on the couch, we are likely to turn it on and watch it.

We can use this idea to change our habits too.

We don’t need to actively stop ourselves from eating cookies if we don’t even have them at home to begin with.

Take it a step further and replace the cookies with a fruit instead.

You'll be surprised at how these seemingly insignificant changes can actually transform our lives greatly given time.
